Administration:

CNK is a full fledged institution under the Director of Medical Education. The Principal is the administrative head of College of Nursing who is responsible to the DME through JDNE (Joint Director of Nursing Education). The administration and internal management of the college is vested with the Principal.

BSc Nursing:

Duration: 4 yrs + 1yr Compulsory Nursing Service

No: of seats - 60

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery:

Duration - 3 years

No.of seats- 30

MSc Nursing - (from 2004):

1) Medical Surgical Nursing - 6 seats
2) Child Health Nursing- 4 seats
3) Psychiatric nursing- 4 seats
4) OBG Nursing- 4 seats
5) Community health nursing- 4 seats

1) Post Diploma in Critical care Nursing - 6 seats
2) Post Diploma in Neurology Nursing - 4 seats
3) Post Diploma in Cardiothoracic Nursing - 4 seats

Ph.D in Nursing

Recognized as a research centre of Kerala university of health sciences. Four research scholars joined for Ph.D programme in the current academic year.

Govt.College of Nursing, Annexe (School of Nursing) was inaugurated on 13.06.2015 Auditorium & Library Complex is under construction
The College is having an annexe building in which classes for GNM, Post Basic Diploma Nursing & specialty classrooms, for M.Sc Nursing are running.

A Ph.D classroom is also there in the annexe.
